Biography of Mark Wheeler, CEO, ToneDeaf Studios
Mark Wheeler began studying music at the age of eight and focused on the saxophone at ten years old. Raised in a musical family, Mark was exposed to many forms of music, primarily Classical. After graduating from Walla Walla College in 1991 with a Bachelors Degree in Music Education, Mark began teaching music at a small private high school, which exposed him to extensive arranging and orchestration.
An accomplished jazz saxophonist, Mark has arranged and orchestrated numerous short pieces and such projects as a complete score for a stage play, tracks for a CD recording and songs for a "Broadway-style" musical review.
Mark and his wife, Kelli have been married for 15 years and have two sons, Jarod, 7, and Alec, 4.
